"Mirathon" is a 17thC farmhouse and is made up of four carefully restored individual gites. Each gite has its own kitchen, living room, bathroom(s) bedrooms and a private patio or balcony. This ensures when groups or families take the whole property for their holiday they can have as much privacy as they want or be totally communal - ideal for meals as there is group seating for 30 people. Each gite has been restored decorated and furnished to a high standard retaining many of its original stone walls and exposed beams. They offer relaxed and comfortable accommodation with added benefits of fully fitted kitchens, modern bathrooms, well furnished sitting rooms and comfortable bedrooms. Often described as the French Tuscany this tranquil area in the quiet countryside is only 4kms from the bastide town of Duras and is surrounded by activities suitable for all ages. It has been tastefully renovated and restored and furnished to a high stanard retaining many of its original stone walls and exposed beams.On the ground floor is an open plan living room with comfy sofas and chairs and DVD/Video/TV. Leading off the well appointed kitchen, (large fridge/freezer, microwave, full sized cooker complete with dishwasher).The French windows open onto a private 5m x 3.4m covered terrace with table and chairs and barbecue. Another step takes you onto the extensive lush lawns which are surrounded by cascades of flowers and bushes and you can hear the gentle tinkling of the fountain in the fishpond. Beside the fishpond is a large shaded barbecue with a generous seating area. |

The gite has been thoughtfully renovated and restored using the most of its original features whilst providing the modern conveniences of self catering accommodation. The well appointed kitchen has a full sized cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee maker and of course all the necessary pots, pans crockery, cutlery and glasses It is furnished to a high standard retaining many of its original stone walls and exposed beams. The living room is furnished with two sofas and comfy chairs witha dining table and chairs for eight. Leading off the living room is one double and one single bedroom and shower room. |

Gascogne is on the ground floor which makes it very suitable for families with young children. Whilst providing the modern conveniences of self catering accommodation, it has been renovated, restored and furnished to a high standard retaining many of its original stone walls and exposed beams. The well appointed kitchen has a full sized cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and of course all the necessary pots, pans, cutlery, crockery and glasses.The big living room/kitchen has a large open wood burning stove and a sofa bed. This leads onto a 4.30mx3m private patio complete with retractable sun awning, table chairs and barbecue. From here can be seen the lovely well stocked flower gardens and extensive lawns, the fishpond complete with tinkling fountains and a large barbecue with tables and chairs for 22 people. The grounds are totally secure with mases of space to play games. |

Garonne - which used to be the old wine chai - is arranged over two floors. It has been beautifully and carefully restored still retaining many of the of its original stone walls and exposed beams whilst providing the modern conveniences of self catering accommodation. Downstairs is the large living room with settees and comfy chairs, a separate dining area and a kitchen (15mx5m), There are windows at either end and the gite features a spectacular open fire. Outside is a a south facing sunny open terraace (4.2mx3m) which overlooks the well-stocked gardens. Chairs tables and barbecue are provided but there is a further bigger barbecue complete with tables and chairs in the garden. Here there is masses of secure grassy areas for playing games, or maybe sit quietly under the shade of a tree or sunbathe. Upstairs is a well-appointed double bedroom, a bright twin bedroom and a shower room. |
